UPDATE

New logo, new letterhead, new praise reports, but the same Jesus - for He is the same yesterday, today and forever! From the beginning of time, our unchanging Lord knew our Mayan friends of today and could see sincere hearts looking to Him for help in their tomorrows.

A world that was closed to the expansion of the gospel for centuries has now experienced immeasurable growth in just the last 2 decades. The multitude of Christian believers living in the mountains of Chiapas continues to increase daily; our responsibilities and concern for these people are increasing as well. We look at the multitude and wonder how can we do the job before us. "The job is so big that the only way it makes sense is for God to be in charge!"

And with God in charge, He as formed incredible teams of Mexicans and Americans together that make our job an absolute joy! Those teams have included so many of you either through your prayers, your trips to Mexico personally, and/or your finances.

Praise Reports 2005!!!

· Through a generous offering 8 churches were plastered, painted, windows and doors installed and benches built.
· Youngsville Baptist installed roof in Monterrey
· Quest Men's group - built new mission church
· Abundant Life - installed 3 roofs
· Thibodaux Family Church - built new mission church
· New 15 passenger van and Toyota truck to transport teams and luggage-donated through Mexico Ministries

In May we joined the celebration for the completion of the beautiful sanctuary in Tuxtla and were also introduced to the orphanage ministry of Casa Hogar Alegre.

Scripture gives various accounts where Jesus saw the multitude and was moved with compassion. We are comforted in knowing that Jesus understands the vastness of this task before us. He saw the 800 patients that were cared for by Dr. Paul Landreneau in less than 4 days and the many dental patients seen by Dr. Nichols.

The medical team had to reach the last hour and a half to this remote destination by horseback or on foot. Thank God He is in charge of putting great teams together!

Not only is our Lord concerned about the multitude, He is a personal God to each and every one of us. Please continue to keep Al Wood and his family in your prayers. As many of you know, Al was in a serious automobile accident on his way to Houston to join us on a mission's trip this past May. His recovery is slow but progressing and God is still in charge!

We thank you for your continued help and support! The God who knows these precious Mayan people is the same God who also knows your needs today as well.
